Filming ''Horror Trailer''

For the last three days we have been filming part of our trailer. So far we have done over half the scenes we need and only have a little more to go till we can successfully say we've finished. We have included 2 people from other groups into our trailer and they have acted very well to it. A few scenes we have done went a bit wrong and we needed to film again but we did solve them in the end. We still need to finish the storyboard as it is incomplete but we are aiming to try and finish that off today if we can.

The aim of today's lesson is to get the filming finished, complete stoyboard and rewrite the script up as it has had a few changes which need to be written up onto the computer then we should be finished by either today or next week.

Filming

Today, in this lesson, we had to film "Me, Myself and sock" which was written by Stuart and Richard.
My opinion on the script was that the storyboard didnt make sense as it was set out oddly and we needed to re read the script a couple of times to understand it all.
The first scene took 6 shots to do as we kept getting the camera angle wrong. After that each shot took one shot which was better.

Naomi was meant to act first but then decided to not as she didnt have the confidence, so I did. At first I didnt want to but then I thought that I would.

Brokeback Exercise

My piece was different to the actual movie because in one of the scenes the Sheriff's head jerks and the speech is different to the actual dialogue.
What I dislike about my edit is it doesnt actually follow the whole concept of the opening scene.

Editing on iMovie Part 2

Carried on with our editing today on iMovie. I got about 5/6 scenes complete from the scenes in the hut. There is one error in it though, that is that his head jerks through one of the scenes so it looks odd.

Scene Storyboard exercise

Today's lesson we watched two trailers. One for Snatch and One for There will be blood. After we had seen the two we had to storyboard the second trailer. I drew 9 frames from the trailer.

Workshop filmpuzzle (day 1)

In todays lesson I had to label some clips from a film called Brokeback Mountain in iMovie. I also identified what type of scene it was, like BAR or FOREST.

Video finished

Today we finished the video. John and I edited a few more scenes from the video and added new credits to the end of the film and also music by Daniel Powter; bad day. The video then went to youtube.

Had a few problems at first because one of the scenes you could hear Naomi say ACTION and we couldnt delete it but we found the problem and it soon disappeared which was lucky [=
